Florida House
Step into the Florida House exhibit, a dynamic space designed to ignite the creativity and curiosity of young minds exploring the world of architecture and construction in the Sunshine State. Here, children engage with oversized Big Blue Blocks, constructing vibrant mini Florida-style houses and fostering teamwork in the process. As aspiring architects, kids sketch and plan their dream homes with drawing materials and design templates, unleashing their creativity while learning fundamental architectural concepts. The exhibit goes beyond the surface, allowing children to explore the inner workings of a house through cutaway sections that reveal the plumbing, electrical systems, and insulation. In addition to being an engaging exhibit space, the Florida House room also serves as a flexible area for museum workshops and can be used as an additional party room for celebrations.
