We're Turning 18... and YOU'RE Invited to the Birthday Party!

Can you believe it? We're celebrating 18 incredible years in our building, and we couldn't have done it without YOU!

Join us on Sunday, August 2, 2026, as we celebrate this milestone birthday with a day full of fun, memories, and surprises.

When we opened our doors 18 years ago, we had just 4 exhibits. Since then, we've continued to grow, renovate, reimagine, and create new opportunities for children and families to learn through play. Every exhibit, every program, and every smile has been part of this amazing journey—and it's time to celebrate everything we've accomplished together!

Here's what to expect:
One day only! Admission is rolled back to our 2008 opening-day price—just $6 per person (adults and children)! As always, museum members receive free admission.

Birthday games and activities
FREE face painting
And plenty of birthday surprises throughout the day!

Dress for birthday party fun: Wear your brightest, boldest, most colorful outfit and help us fill the museum with birthday cheer!

Turning 18 is a big deal—it comes with exciting new opportunities, like registering to vote! Thanks to our friends at the Martin County Supervisor of Elections Office, kids will have a chance to cast their own special ballot for their favorite exhibit in the museum.
