Weather Fun Alert at the Museum!
Bring the kids on Wednesday, May 20th from 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM for a hands-on, high-energy weather experience with Meteorologist James Weiland from WPTV!
Hosted at The Children's Museum of the Treasure Coast, this special event is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and help kids better understand weather patterns—including what really happens during hurricane season
What kids will experience:
Meet a real meteorologist and ask your weather questions
Learn how forecasts are made and what meteorologists look for
Step into the hurricane simulator for a hands-on, wind-powered experience
Try your skills at creating a weather forecast in the WPTV weather exhibit
This is a fun, interactive way to turn “hurricane season” from something scary into something kids can understand and feel prepared for.
Bonus perks:
All activities are included with museum admission
* Adults are FREE after 2 PM on weekdays during the school year when visiting with their children
* Members always receive free admission during regular hours
