The ship side of the museum (our Explorer’s Gallery) will be closed for play through Sunday, November 22nd as we host the 3rd annual Festival of Giving.
Please note that general admission will be $5 off per person during the Festival of Giving from Tuesday, November 10th through Sunday, November 22nd.
Please note that the Festival of Giving opens two hours prior to the museum opening for play on this day. The museum town side and garden open for play at noon.
The Festival of Giving, Where Every Tree Tells a Story is a time for the community and nonprofits to come together to share all the good that is happening in our communities! The event features 80+ beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and centerpieces. Each one tells the story of a nonprofit. This year we have 56 participating nonprofits.
Guests are welcome to simply enjoy strolling through the event. They are also welcome to try to win all fo these incredible trees, wreaths and centerpieces and the money goes back to the corresponding nonprofit further supporting their mission.
All winners will be notified on the afternoon of Saturday, November 21st and all trees, wreaths and centerpieces must be picked up on Sunday, November 22nd between 8 am and noon.
