  • Opens Frances Langford's Our Town Wing
  • Educator's Guide is distributed to teachers and administrators along the Treasure Coast; Indian River, Martin, St. Lucie & Okeechobee
  • TCM Introduces the Art to Wear, Recycled Fashion Show
  • TCM Car Care Center opens 2009
  • TCM Vet Clinic opens 2010
  • The Bank of America Explorer's Gallery opens the first of 5 exhibits.
  • The Marti Frances Spanish Galleon opens December 2010.
  • TCM Launches Capital Expansion Campaign for completion of The Explorer's Gallery and Interactive Children's Garden.
  • TCM Expands with the Mail Stop opening in the Our Town Wing, November 2011
  • TCM Continues to grow, opening The Children's Theatre August 2012, The Railway Exhibit opened December 2012
  • TCM Fire Station is added March 2013
  • The Children's interactive Garden opened April 2013
  • May 2013 the health center received an addition of a Life Size Operation Table
  • June 2013 The Garden continues to grow, adding a Squash Slide and a Grasshopper Sculpture named Spiffy
  • August 2, 2013 TCM Celebrates it's 5th Birthday with a Caribbean theme
  • August 2013 The Explorers Gallery Floor gets a much needed paint job adding a themed dock, water and alligators
  • Toddler Beach receives new underwater characters
  • Our town market gets it's very own ATM
  • The Explorer's Gallery gets an underwater scene mural
  • Our town side gets new flooring to resemble a real street with sidewalks, featuring a green space, rail road tracks and even street signs
  • RE/MAX of Stuart donates an interactive wind tunnel to the Florida Cracker House
  • The Children's Theater has a new look with new felt characters, matching plays and costumes
  • The entrance of the Museum is remodeled and another mural will be coming soon
2001-Opening Day (2008)
  • Formed as a 501(c) 3 organization.
  • Received option to lease building at Indian Riverside Park
  • Established partnership with the Junior League of Martin County which conducted hand tile and community survey projects
  • Launched ChildsPlay newsletter..
  • Received $1 million matching community challenge grant from Wayne & Marti Huizenga Family Foundation
  • Launched "Dig It” traveling exhibit to area schools in conjunction with the Junior League of Martin County and SEFAS
  • Groundbreaking Ceremony
  • Began building renovation
  • Awarded $500,000 Cultural Facilities grant from the State of Florida
  • Held inaugural Treasurefest Family Fun Day 2005
  • Certificate of Occupancy issued
  • Phase One Exhibit fabrication begins in Orlando
  • Inaugural memberships offered
  • Educational Summer Camp begins.
  • Phase One opens in August while exhibit construction continues in Phase Two of museum
