The Explorer Wing
Spanish Galleon
Imagine an eighteenth century Spanish galleon ship where children can take the helm of the ship, scale the rigging to the top of the crow’s nest and search for treasure. This enchanting exhibit will offer exhilarating physical and intellectual challenges to all aspiring scalawags. Plans include a working galley, captain’s quarters, complete with a dock where kids can harvest, crate and hoist pineapples to the ship to be carried to destinations far and away.
Imagine an interactive river/water play area that will teach visitors about the ebb and flow of our Indian River. Discover the wonders of the Earth’s most abundant resource through and interactive system of pulleys, pumps, wheels and pipes that demonstrate how we manipulate the power of water.

As you can see, there will be enormous amounts of fun and learning for all ages inside The Children’s Museum, ready to serve the families of the Treasure Coast. As our fundraising efforts progress, we look forward to further enhancing your experience with the opening of additional exhibits and the Explorer Wing.
